Return & Exchange Policy

We want you to feel confident ordering from Overhead Break. As an online-only shop, we understand that sometimes items may not work out. This policy is designed to be fair to our customers while maintaining sustainable operations for our team.

To initiate a return or exchange for U.S. orders, please use our Return & Exchange Portal.

To initiate a return for international orders, please contact us at returns@overheadbreak.com.

Exchanges (U.S.)

We offer one (1) free exchange per order on eligible items within 14 days of delivery.

  • Return shipping for the first exchange is free (one time only)

  • Any additional exchanges will incur an $8.95 fee per exchange

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for an exchange, items must be:

  • Unworn, unused, and unwashed

  • In original condition, with no signs of wear or damage

  • Returned with all original tags attached (if applicable)

  • In original packaging

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

We reserve the right to deny exchanges that do not meet these criteria.

All exchanges are subject to product availability. If the requested item is unavailable, we will contact you via email and may offer a refund or store credit.

Returns for Refund (U.S.)

We accept eligible returns for refunds within 14 days of delivery.

  • A return shipping fee of $8.95 will be deducted from your refund

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

Eligibility Requirements

Items must meet the same conditions listed above. Returns that do not meet these requirements may be rejected or subject to a partial refund at our discretion.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Please allow 5–7 business days for processing after approval

  • Financial institutions may require additional time to post funds

If more than 10 business days have passed since approval and you have not received your funds, please contact us at hello@overheadbreak.com.

Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, you must contact us at hello@overheadbreak.com within 14 days of delivery (although the sooner, the better).

If the issue is confirmed to be our error, we will cover any associated shipping costs and provide a replacement, refund, or store credit at our discretion.

We may require photo evidence before resolving the issue.

Final Sale / Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Items marked “final sale”

  • Custom or personalized products

Return Conditions & Abuse Prevention

All returns are inspected upon arrival.

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse returns that show signs of wear, use, washing, or damage

  • Refuse returns not sent in original condition or packaging

  • Issue partial refunds based on the condition of returned items

  • Limit or deny returns, refunds, or exchanges in cases of:

    • Excessive return activity

    • Suspected abuse of our return policy

    • Fraudulent or suspicious behavior

To ensure fairness, we may monitor return patterns and enforce restrictions at our sole discretion.

International Returns & Exchanges

While we do not offer direct exchanges for international orders at this time, we gladly accept international return requests for eligible items within 14 days of delivery. Please email us at returns@overheadbreak.com to start the process!

If you would like a different size, color, or item, we recommend returning your original purchase for store credit and placing a new order.

International customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. In these cases, we will cover any replacement or return shipping costs.

International return packages must be declared as “Returned Goods” and not as a new purchase. Any customs duties, taxes, or clearance charges incurred because the package was declared incorrectly may be deducted from the refund or store credit amount.

Original shipping charges, duties, taxes, customs fees, and other import-related charges are non-refundable.

Eligibility Requirements

Items marked as final sale, discounted items, and personalized or custom-made products are not eligible for return.

Once your return is approved, you may choose one of the following options:

  • Refund to your original payment method (minus original shipping charges, duties, taxes, customs fees, and other import-related charges)

  • Store credit

For orders where return shipping would exceed the value of the product, we may, at our discretion, offer a partial refund, store credit, or replacement without requiring the item to be returned.

If you choose store credit and place a new order, we will do our absolute best to help minimize additional duties or taxes by marking replacement shipments appropriately and including the original order information when possible. However, customs charges are determined by the destination country and cannot be guaranteed or controlled by us.

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

European Union – 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

For orders shipped to the European Union:

You have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without justification.

To qualify:

  • Items must be returned in original condition (unworn, unused, with tags, and in original packaging)

  • Proof of purchase is required

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise required by law.
